Katey Day is a native of Saint John New Brunswick and has made Halifax her home for the past 7 years. She loves all genres of music but specifically enjoys "great" music, especially the music that is played on Lite 92.9!

She has enjoyed working in Television and Radio for the past 2 decades and has also been a professional musician/vocalist for 26 years opening for such artists as Jeff Healy, Trooper, Carol Pope and Great Big Sea!

Katey has 2 loves - music and people - broadcasting has definitely allowed her to enjoy both!
