Jamie Paterson was born in Edmonton but grew up in Seattle Washington, London England, and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

He got his first taste of show business when he was asked to sing a duet with Sesame Street’s Bob McGrath. From that moment he was hooked.

Over the years, Jamie has tried his hand in theatre, stand-up comedy, improv comedy and even newspaper photography. One of these days, he's going to try his entire body!

Jamie is no stranger to Halifax radio. His "Man In The Van" character was voted "Most popular morning personality" in a 1997 internet poll. He then moved to the "Big Rock Station" where he met his future wife Lisa Blackburn. They "woke up Halifax" together for 3 years before Jamie moved to afternoon radio to catch up on his sleep.

After 6 years Jamie is thrilled to be back on the morning airwaves at LITE 92.9 with Lisa, his co-host in radio, and life!

Lisa Blackburn has been reporting the news in Halifax for almost two decades. Although born in Hamilton, Ontario, she grew up in Beaverbank, NS and still lives there to this day with her co-host in life and two daughters.

News is her first love and it garnered her the nickname "Newsbag" from her mother while taking journalism at the University of Kings College. Lisa took her Honours Degree in journalism and went on to work as a television reporter for CTV, an entertainment correspondent for Global TV, a weekly newspaper columnist for the Halifax Daily News and a morning voice of reason in Halifax radio.

She is thrilled to be teamed up with co-host Jamie Paterson on the New Lite 92.9 and says much of the music is what she grew up listening to! A card carrying member of the ABBA fan club, Lisa counts St. Lucia as one of her favourite places in the world and white wine as her main vice!
